Copper EDTA Chelated
Description
COPPER-EDTA contains copper metal which is chelated with EDTA. It is used as a fertilizer to overcome copper deficiency symptoms in plants which require copper for their healthy growth and development. Copper deficiency is common in acid soils due to low/less available copper status.
Mode of Action
Copper serves as a cofactor for numerous enzymes involved in various metabolic processes within plants. Chelated copper ensures the availability of this essential micronutrient for enzyme activation, supporting vital physiological functions such as photosynthesis, respiration, and lignin synthesis.
Applications
